Kooza & The Lobster

I was able to catch the final show of Kooza at Santa Monica Pier Sunday night. True to its tagline, the show truly was an adrenaline rush.

Highlights of the first act include the jaw-slacking Contortion trio and the gasp-inducing highwire foursome who balance themselves with poles and bicycles.

The second act garnered the greatest cheers from Balancing On Chairs and Wheel Of Death where two acrobats perform in a pendulum fashion.

Kooza is my third Cirque Du Soleil show after "The Beatles|Love" and "Corteo". Each one seems to be getting better. Hopefully the next Cirque show I'm going to watch will not disappoint.

Post-Cirque dinner was served at The Lobster on Ocean Avenue. The Pan Roasted Lobster is superb in succulence and flavor. I would recommend the Baked Chocolate Mousse for dessert.

Andrea Bocelli Live @ Honda Center

It felt a lot like a White Christmas Sunday night when Andrea Bocelli serenaded the city of Anaheim. He sang opera songs during the first half of the concert.

The second half of his repertoire were from his Christmas album which he collaborated with with premiere composer David Foster.

Before this, I have only had the opportunity to listen to his CDs. Watching and hearing him perform live is an experience in itself.

Bocelli is immaculately effortless. His vocal range, from high notes to deep tones, sent goosebumps on my nape and shivers down my spine.

Out of Reach

I lost my iPhone 3GS today!

I tried calling it. Voicemail. Now I literally cannot reach myself. My words have come to fruition.

My iPhone is like my lifeline. It keeps me in touch with friends, families and important contacts.

It allows me to take photos & videos; check weather anywhere in the world; listen to music & audiobooks; watch videos; make online purchases; check movie times; find shops.

It serves as my dictionary, alarm clock, navigation system, encyclopedia, and all-around finder of anything I seek within the boundaries of our little known universe.

Most recently, it has become my fitness buddy, allowing me to log my daily weight and calorie intake, and guiding me on workouts and exercises to perform.

Ever since I got it in September I have been using it more heavily than my Macbook.

And now it’s gone.

It happened at work. It has been four hours from the time I lost it and the time I clocked out of work and no one has come forward.

How much more detached from the world would I get?
